Computer Parts with a Brief Detail

As we are well aware of all the basics components of a computer that are compulsory to use a computer with its full functionality, includes central processing unit, monitor, keyboard and a mouse. All these four hardware parts perform different functions. Here we will discuss the each part in detail with help of diagrams.

CPU (Central Processing Unit)

CPU is the abbreviation of central processing unit which is called the brain of a computer system. This is the most valuable component of a computer system in which all the calculations take place. CPU is a small square part which contains many small pins and connectors underneath it also called processor and placed on the mother board.





Monitor

Monitor is an output device on which we see all the things happening. Know a days in modern life LCD has taken place of monitor which is rather slimmer and easy to handle than a monitor.




Keyboard

Keyboard is an input device through which is just like an electronic type writer that contains many buttons on it through which we input the text and numerical data and give commands to computer system.



Mouse

Mouse is also an input device through which we control the movement of the curser on the display screen but through this device we cannot input the text, numeric and other special keys. A standard mouse contains two buttons in which one is used to select or deselect and the other is used to open the pop-ups and instruction menus and one scrool wheel which is used to scrool the screen and move the slider.
